April has always been an odd month for me. Everyone is going on and on about spring but here in Maine we're nowhere near it. We don't even have flowers on trees until late May. Sigh. It's a long month. I try to fill my time waiting for spring remembering winter by keeping some of the same rituals like staying indoors and being cozy, baking and spending time with family. I am always very happy when spring does come but I don't mind having a bit more of winter ... especially since I know it's the very end. —MAV
