inspiration: february 2011

Inspiring me these days and nights:

Loaf after loaf of really good wheat bread (Portland has the best bakers)
Details of the old buildings all around me
My new home (this is the hallway)
Getting out the cookbooks and staying in for cozy dinners
A special day off
Making simple Valentine's Day treats
Having wine at lunchtime
Tons and tons of snow (isn't that bear so cute)

I've never really known about February. I just don't know and I just don't care. How can one month go by so fast?! And what sort of lessons am I suppose to learn when I look up and it's done? And what's the feeling, the vibe or the activity all about? February: I have never really gotten you. Well ... this February taught me a lesson! I can't think of a more important month in my life. Love and life and home and work all coming to a chaotic and crashing BASH and in such a good way. I think I love you, February! Thanks for a great month. —MAV
