June is a birthday month for The Card Society as its start date was June of 2006. I always celebrate a birthday with sweets, prizes and special cards. These last five years the designs have been lovingly done by Christopher David Ryan. I tell him it’s a party and he comes up with something enchanting. Longtime Card Society members will remember that CDR always features a portrait of yours truly sort of hidden within the cards designs ... this year I am holding a heart. It's bittersweet for me because these are the final Card Society birthday cards. Sob! I really am holding my heart and it's aching. I can't believe it's all coming to an end. Let's go out with a bang, shall we? Let's party these last months away!
