In late February we bought our first apartment. I think being surrounded by all of the old details in the house really brought these cards to life. I wanted them to feel old but have a simple modern beauty at the same time. It's just another study in noticing something, pondering it and having it translate onto the printed page. This sort of life/work mix of creativity is one thing I will certainly miss when The Card Society comes to a close later this year.
